Oooooh, I just saw it, I thought it was bloody brilliant!
However, I just heard (word on the iMDB message boards) that Sophia Myles, who played Mme. de Pompadour, and David Tennant, are seeing each other. I wonder what effect that will have on the series, as historically such things have not been good...
