I need to actually time a DVD rip one of these days. I usually just put it in the background and don't even think about it while I do other stuff. I imagine a typical rip job doesn't take more than 15 minutes for me. Dual 2.0GHz PowerMac G5, 4GB RAM, LG GSA-4167B DVD+/-R drive.
