I had a computer with Panther mail. I bought a Mac Pro with Tiger Mail. The transition went basically fine except in Tiger Mail when the Inbox is displayed it insists on putting emails I have responding to above other emails I have received. I don't want that, I want it just like it was in Panther Mail - all received emails in order of the date I received them. The way it is now I have to scroll down through the list of emails I have responded to, to get to new emails that have just arrived. Why would it do that? I have looked all through the menu items but I can't seem to find a parameter I can change to get it to stop doing that. I hope someone knows the answer - it's really bugging me.
