This was going to be my first purchase after I hit the lottery or sold my movie rights:
The site, http://www.mymach5.com seems to be down, though. I wonder if they're building them anymore.
FWIW, I already owned one of these:
VW isn't making bullet-proof cars, per se; I had a 2000 New Beetle (blue) and this one (a 2003) and both had serious electrical problems. Fun as anything to drive, though, especially with the decals.
Right now, my next vehicle (two or three years away, probably); I'd like it to be this:
