Put yourself at the helm of a tractor for a ten to twelve hour shift in any mid-west farming community where there's little but AM radio. Put yourself on the wrong side of any mountain in mountainous country. Put yourself on any ship off-shore, commercial or pleasure/private during inclement weather and convince everyone here that satellite weather feeds for a measly $30 or $50.00 a month shouldn't be a mandatory safety requirement.
It may surprise you to learn that not everyone lives in the cushy comforts of Mom's basement.
