People here have no clue (for the most part) about conditions in other countries. I was watching a special on the History Channel about engineering disasters. there was a mine collapse in China that killed over 300 workers, and as a whole, China loses over 1400 miners a year. That is 4 a day. We get worked up when we lose 13, and that is half a week in china, where it is business as usual.
