[quote $tevie][quote spacescape](Maybe refurbished isn't a good idea for a gift but we are on a budget)
Should I just "GIVE" my wife my 40 gig iPod photo and conveniently pickup a 60 gig video for myself?...
Maybe I can talk myself into a MacBook from the education store so I could get a free iPod...
I'm really confused about your budget. Somehow her present slid downward from a refurb to a 2nd-hand one to a freebie acquired by buying a MacBook. It sounds like you're only on a budget when it is gift-giving time. I know you have liberally applied smilie faces but I don't know if you really are kidding or not.
Yes/No... We discussed getting a MacBook last night (lowend) as a nice second station at home... Then today I was thinking about getting my wife a iPod as a gift...
So, I can spend upto $199 without taking too much crap on a gift for my wife. $1000+ for a laptop that we don't need right now is a family discussion.
So, $129 for a 2 gig, $169 for a 4 gig or $199 for a iPod Video.
