I've had too many problems with Belkin UPSs. I'd avoid them unless it's a truly super deal. $139 shipped isn't super enough to justify buying another UPS from Belkin.
I'm sorry to hear that Robert, but were any of your problems with T H E S E particular units?

To a one, every owner who reviewed the F6C-1500-TW-RK just raved about them. Especially xlnt is the 1000 Joules surge rating, where the APC 1500VA unit is rated at only 410 Joules. And my APC has twin cooling fans, weighs 7 pounds more, and looks old-fashioned compared to the Belkin. 8-)
Apples to apples, I respectfully disagree about this particular Belkin UPS. It's simply better all-around than the much more expensive APC brand competition. When the battery goes down on my APC I'll get another Belkin F6C-1500-TW-RK. If APC comes out with a better UPS than this one I'll consider it, but right now the Belkin is hands-down a better buy, choice, and performer.B)-
