Thanks for the response folks and a visit from Larry...
a couple more tidbits...this occurred after switching to an old NEC 22 inch monitor to profile it with colorvision..precal and optical. I noticed it after that. When I switch back to my regular monitor it's fine.
I have heard, on other forums, that people have had problems with the cursor changing colors after a colorvision profiling...seems to be unpredictable as to when it happens.
This red letter thing even happens in all the web browsers..first letter of each word is red..prints red. like you guys, i've never seen or heard of this before.
I've never seen a monitor that wasn't plug and play with a mac...could it be a driver issue with the NEC? it's about 6 years old or so.
yep, i repaired permits but didnt do any other repairs
the only thing dripping down my screen is, well...i dont know...i popped a zit? oh yeah,,my son popped a zit, or something. Those teens are pretty damn curious and energetic.
