Since monday I have been innundated with calls from offshore companies wanting to optimize my website and / or database.
One has called me 4 times...and I remind them of it...they hang up on me. :?
All of them have callers that CAN NOT speak english well....ok...I am NOT a bigot but if you want to sell me on the idea that you can do it smarter and faster than me don't you think that being able to speak my language is a big plus (note: since most website in the US are in English it stands to reason that you use English when you call your prospective customer) :X
The best (or worst) one yet is being paged, picking up the line to hear music (ie hold), waiting the 2 mins to hear "scuse please. my company optimizes electronics. is your electronics not load? I make them load....etc" (Note: I didn NOT make an ethnic slur by mispronouncing letters in this post...but they do that too.)
