In my paranoid conspiracy theory way, it seems that those companies such as PayPal want us all to not trust each so that we willingly give them a piece of our action.
I agree that I do not want to give my bank account info to anyone I do not know... even though it's on every check I write along with my signature.
I asked this question in the first place because ebay advises against wire transfers but when I read why, it seems that the wire places the seller at risk, not the receiver.
The most useful information to me, is hearing that we have no recourse on international sales. That is a great reason to only sell in the USA.
