Are wire transfers outside USA ok to accept for ebay?

I do wire transfers OUT of the US all the time. You have to authorize those sorts of debits to your account with showing up face to face -- ID required if the teller is uncertain about you and then your signature at the bottom of the wire transfer form.

The bank is not going to allow just anyone to remotely debit your account; but go ask the bank for those reassurances/gurantees. OR do what a lot of eBayers do: set up another dedicated account for eBay with only enough money in a timely manner in the account.
