Three points.:
1. Ware is not misspelled, it is the wrong word.
2. You don't have to be an Apple tech to look up a serial number. Just go to this Apple Support page.
http://www.apple.com/support/
Lower right hand corner.
3. The 800MHz G4 iBook had the regular Airport card, not the Extreme according to MacTracker.
