Basically I don't pay enough attention to these kinds of things to be able to analyze them rationally, but we should keep in mind that Chrysler has been making some vehicles that have been popular for a long time. Mainly I'm thinking of their minivans and the Jeeps. GM never could manage to compete with the popularity of various minivans manufactured by Chrysler, but I don't know how sales of the Jeep branded vehicles compare to sales of the sport utility types made by GM. I sure see a lot of Jeeps around, though.
