Anyone Paint A kitchen Red?

we've got 2 accent walls with "Merlot." We have an adjoining living room and dining room, so we have 1 accent wall in each. Looks great, was a pain in the @ss to paint (the real rich color took 3-4 coats of good quality Benjamin Moore paint).
