[quote Carnos Jax][quote Pat]Carnos,
California has tons of pickups also. We just don't have the gunracks. ;-)
Which market segment?
I know this'd be over simplifying it, but full size trucks w/an 8 cylinder engine or higher.
Well, your limiting yourself to basically just domestics then. Toyota is just now entering this market, and Nissan only entered last year, maybe 2 years ago. The Nissan is not up there with the other 4 options capacity wise and has had a rough roll out. Quite a few engine and brake problems, and crappy fuel mileage. So your only comparison would be between Chevy, Dodge and Ford.
Still what are we looking at here? There's a world of difference between a 150/1500 gasser vs a 250/2500-350/3500 diesel. Production year/engine matter too.
Just an example. 2003 Ford F250 can have any of the folllowing: 3 cab styles, 2 bed lengths, 2 drive options, 4 engine options, 3 transmission options.
The best truck would vary by year and options. Some have problems that only affect one model year, some have ongoing issues, and some just have quirks.
