OK, to get you guys back on subject...
I'm with Seacrest, in that I pretty much get as many dollar coins as I like, just by going to the local PO to the stamp machine and sticking in a $20, and buying, say, a $2.40 book of stamps. I differ with Seacrest though in that I VASTLY prefer the coins over bills. Why? Because vending machines will almost always take the coins, whereas the bills are sometimes a problem. Also, the coins are just altogether more convenient (or at least they would be, if there were more in circulation). I do agree that there is a problem with the SBA dollar looking too much like the quarter, but they pretty much fixed that with the Sacagawea... I don't understand why they don't just reissue that, with a fixed alloy so that it doesn't tarnish. Very pretty coin, IMO.
