Anyone Paint A kitchen Red?

this is a good thread. i'll have to start my own, though, since i have a bunch of questions and don't want to be a hiajcker. BUT, i will ask what people think about red as an accent only color as a lower wall paint, like below a chair rail. i'm trying to liven up a really dead "living" room (pun intended).
