Thanks for the feedback. I'll go back next week and see if the price has dropped any more.

The other speaker system they had that I am interested in is the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1. That, however is not a portable option.

The CUSA sales person suggested the M-Audio DX-4's monitor speakers over the Klipsch 2.1's as long as I didn't need the bass of the subwoofer. He thought the sound was cleaner and more accurate.
