I would think there are taxicab laws/regs that vary from state to state

For $3k I would drive them too. They are covering his food, gas, and lodging. Wear and tear on the vehicle isn't going to be more than $100 for the whole trip, just need an oil change at some point. It is about a 40 hour drive each way. 10 hours a day, do a 4 on take a 3 day weekend and drive back. He is making about $37 an hour plus his expenses are paid and he gets to see some new places.

So, if anyone wants to be driven around the country, sign me up.
