Apple's press release is bordering on M$ shirkiness. Seems VERY odd that Leopard has been planned all this time and parallel with the iPhone project and JUST RECENTLY Apple had to divert resources. Apple first said Leopard would ship before Vista. Then Apple said Spring '07 (which they reiterated at MacWorld and the Q1 financial results conference call). Memories of Copeland dancing in my head.
I suspect the developers WWDC beta release is going to be a lot buggier than Apple is letting on. All I can say is after all this Leopard needs to be rock solid in Oct or Apple is going to have a lot of egg on it's face. I guess this also means there won't be a iLife '07. Does it also mean that Apple consumer products now take priority over Mac projects?
