I have a friend who is a CPA and only charges me $100 to do my return. The past couple years I did some freelancing so had to file a schedule C and this year was my first full year working from home so I had all kinds of home office, mileage and other expenses to deal with.
He really helped keep me organized and reminded me of some deductions I would have never remembered or thought of in the first place. My receipt filing and record keeping will be much more thorough this year so I won't have to wait so long to file next year.
Well worth the $100 I pay him.
