[quote BigGuynRusty]You snipped down my post and turned it around.
Sorry, I didn't mean to twist; it just seemed like you were saying that worn pedals were the most likely indicator of bad maintenance. We are in total agreement about how important the visual appeal is to selling a car.
[quote BigGuynRusty]My post was much less racist also!
There was absolutely nothing racist about what I wrote. Around here, it is a fact that the black owned and run detailing businesses do the best job and at the best price. Are there exceptions? Sure. But I know where to go to find people who take pride in their business and pride in the work they do. And it isn't the corporate owned chain car wash in the McSuburbs. What I said is no different than saying that the best Chinese food can be found in China town. And when I want my head shaved right- with out cuts and stray hairs left around my ears- I would much rather go to a black barber shop than to Super Cuts. Admittedly, it can be a little intimidating at first- but it gives me an appreciation of what it feels like to be the "other". I like my city and my neighborhood and I prefer to patronize local businesses. It is what it is, and my comment was made without judgment or malice.
You might want to examine your own perceptions on this matter before you comment on others.
