Will Apple bring out a $200 iPhone w/o some features?

I'm reading in the financial news/speculation that Apple might bring out a $200 version iPhone...and the rivalry with iTouch. If they reduce the iPhone drastically Apple might do away with the iTouch...I don't think so because people can't use an iPhone like an iTouch unless they go with AT&T or swap Simms.
