Wow, for as adamant as you are that he's stated incorrect info, I'd say just the opposite. Everything he mentioned in that post is most definitely true except for the increased bat speed part (and that's only on a technicality). Perhaps they haven't done studies in the manner you have stated but I don't need studies of thousands to prove that if I put my hand in a fire there is a good chance I'm going to get burned. There has been many a player/former that has stated that the drugs help them recover more quickly, etc. Doctors prescribe them legally in part for this specific reason. There is some logic behind these statements about improved performance and it's not just some alarmist squawking.
