Rate plans for iPhone unveiled by Apple
#35
[quote chuck_k]It's not a "one line family plan," it's a one iPhone family plan. Your other phone can be anything else, and you share your voice minutes.

Read it carefully, and understand how Cingular does business. It's still a family plan. But not everyone in the family will have an iPhone. In fact, very few families will have more than one iPhone. The other phones will be normal phones.
I understand what youmean but I still took it to mean that regardless of what type of phone you added to the plan, there would be an additional charge per line. I thought Cingular had always been that way in that I believed them to charge for each additional line. The way the site shows, I took it to mean that those were the base rates for Family Plans with one phone included. Each additional line/phone would cost more. If that's incorrect then my making a funny about a family plan with a pricing structure based on only one line wasn't so funny, eh? :-)

(edit) Ahhh, see tahoedrew that is what i was referring to. Or something along those lines anyway. I couldn't recall if they included 2 lines with the family plan in the past and if it was anything over the initial two that got charged more or what.
