So here's an iPhone question... is it a Palm replacement?

I think it depends on what she uses her Palm for. If she just uses the organizer part, then I think it would be fine to just use the iPhone. If she uses other applications written for specifically for the Palm, then she may be tied to that platform.

I've had a Tungsten T for about 4 years now that I use daily. Besides contacts and calendar, I mainly use ePocrates, a prescription drug database. I've been waiting for Palm to release a successor to the T|X for about a year now. If they were to fix some of the problems with that model, I'd buy it the day it was released. Unfortunately, it seems that they have all but abandonded the PDA-only, non-Treo product line. I want to keep using this program but have a cell phone that I'm happy with and don't need a Treo.
