Jim, I would be too. I have sold refurbs in my consumer electronics business and as long as they had the "regular" factory warranty, I'd recommend them with no compunctions.
With a short warranty I'd be leery, especially since Logitech gives a very long warranty period. The MX 1000 they're replacing for me was going on three years!
As I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
