Removing TiBook display...

I'm wondering if there might be a problem with "seeing" the desktop using programs like VNC if you just clip the video wires. I remember in the old old days a headless Mac still needed a VGA connector attached to its video port if you wanted to view the computer's desktop when using Timbuktu or the like. Just a thought...
