Removing TiBook display...

I ran a couple of PowerBook G3's w/o the internal display for testing once. They still thought they had a display attached, albeit, they didn't know what resolution. This can be a pain, b/c the internal display will still be the main display when you boot up.

For that reason, you may either want to keep the display, so you can boot up with the display lid closed, forcing the external monitor to be the only monitor, or keep a magnet handy and know where the sensor is and put the magnet over the sensor when you boot up. Though if you have a later TiBook that has the keyboard mirror/extended monitor F-key, you're all set and can just ignore everything I've said, boy was I jealous of that key when it first came out.
