Played with it for about two hours with various DVD content (4:3, 16:9, iMovie, VCD) and it looks pretty good.
But, I'm no idiot, being this is the first time I've hooked up a projector in my house, and that this is SO CHEAP, would I find a MUCH BETTER picture by continuing to look at other projectors?
I do not have cable TV, dish TV, or high-def ANYTHING, nor will I be subscribing to any PAY TV content.. Just typical DVD players. So, I do not THINK I need any HD stuff, really.
I currently have it spread out about (guessing) 140" on one wall. And it looks impressive.
It's a DLP. Would LCDs look any better? I bought it just to try out a the entry-level, and might take it back if I find a better overall quality/deal. The Optoma movietime all-in-one DVD player was pretty nice IN-STORE, but I have not had it in the house.
Let me know your thoughts, projector owners.
