It was $150 when I bought it and now sells for as low as $100 on amazon, an amazing deal considering it has a remote, fm receiver, audio input, video output, and a sub output! Oh, btw, it has an ipod cradle AND an internal battery making it ideal for throwing in a suitcase when traveling for an extended stay. I sound like a commercial. At any rate, I'd like to put a small, and reasonably attractive, subwoofer in each room to complement the sound. Any recommendations?
I actually bought an Altec-Lansing 2.1, and the subwoofer is the best part. $50. I had the same idea/thought as you, too. You just don't have to attach the sats, if you like. And it's slim. Try it.
