Beer Keg, Half-Barrel question

I had the "party" keg for about a week and a half and just finished it yesterday. It's not like it was good beer to begin with (Bud Light) but it tasted like normal up until we finished it off. I just kept it out in my garage that stayed in the 30's the whole time. Although it does make since that it should go bad with the amount of air pumped into it. My wife mentioned that it tasted "like water" however it still gave the desired effect.
