Rode that one, or a predecessor, to school myself. When the tires wore out, I wrapped friction tape around tire and rim to keep the tube in. Things like bike tires were a little scarce right after WW II. Actually, looking at it closer - mine had fatter tires and a horn in the tank.
Mine did too. Horn and fat tires this must be newer. Mine was black with chrome I think. Big sheet metal rack. Spring of sort on front. Some had dual springs. My older 'friends" took it down to practically just frame to make it faster. Father did not approve. Sitting hurt for a couple days.
