Based on the buttons that do work properly using USB Overdrive, I don't think that "low USB power or radio interference" is involved.
The mouse functions that were recognized function just fine. The questions I have are about the button functions that don't get a response (button click producing a reaction) in the list of buttons in the Preference Panel. I can't figure out how to set them up to work as the did using the Logitech software.
MacMagus, are you using an MX Revolution and are all of your buttons functioning as before? If so, I'd appreciate a rundown on the settings.
I hate to trade the great functionality and control refinements of the Logitech preferences for stability.
