Sync it with a desktop in the office. Have a lightweight, functional laptop for traveling. Capable for email, office docs, presentations, etc. Only hurdle is watching movies, unless you rent or convert them. I would have like to have seen a wireless dock for usb, a/v, ethernet.
No ethernet is also a big hurdle. 1) Some cos. prohibit logging in to the co server via public WiFi and even if WiFi is allowed 2) a lot of hotels have ethernet broadband but no WiFi.
I understand that onboard ethernet had to be sacrificed but they could have make a dongle available or Express card slot.
