ipod touch - addressbook and ical?
#9
I have a Touch 1.1.2 (without the new $20 software). It came with Contacts (Address Book) and Calendar. Yes, you can add contacts or calendar events from the Touch. (You couldn't add to iCal when they first came out, but that was a bug that was fixed pretty quickly.) They do sync both ways; iTunes will warn you with something like "Syncing will add 4 events to your computer and change 3 and delete 2" or whatever, just like iSync would.

They do not sync with iSync. They sync through iTunes. When you hook up an iPod the window provides multiple panes to configure exactly how you want things to sync up: which photo albums, whether to sync contacts, or the calendar, and so on.

I bought mine largely because of the Calendar feature. If you haven't tried it, it's a great interface.
