I lived in Van Nuys about 3 blocks away from that place. Sometimes the line would wrap around the block so many times that Sepulveda would be backed up all the way into the Hills. When Good Day reminded everyone about Krispy Kreme (as they regularly did) the lines doubled or tripled and just getting over to the hardware store or Petco could be an arduous trip.
(You know that hardware store where Lou Ferrigno's wife was caught in the crossfire when some kids opened up with machine guns in the parking lot? I forget the name of it.)

'Last time I went for a double-double-double it took far less than 3 hours. 'About 5 minutes as I recall.
I suspect that you were nowhere near that place when it opened and your memory is tainted by its recent decline.
