After a day or back & forth emailing with freeverse tech support I still had not gotten the problem solved although they did tell me the copy that had "macfun" in the splash screen where you entered the registration info, was the incorrect version but freeverse was not able to get me to a site with the correct version because of 40,000 people trying to download all at once.

All my software is now registered and working.
