Q:Activity monitor...how do I get it to show all 8 cores in the dock icon?

I don't know about the dock but I like the Window > "Show Floating CPU Window" in the vertical arrangement. I move it to the bottom right corner of the screen. With no other Activity Monitor window open, it uses an almost imperceptible amount of CPU. And it looks cool with four cores.
