Palm users: what has your experience been with syncing? Tips, tricks?

I have a Palm TX which I synch with missing synch to ical and address book without any real issues. The TX has wi-fi and you can download mail and search the web, etc., although it's a bit cluncky at times unless the wifi signal is strong.

I'd like to get a smart phone of some kind with wi-fi capability to use with Verizon. Would love to synch that with missing synch. Don't even know if this is possible.
