Rammie- thirty years ago I could defend myself, and as I said, I grabbed the bat for personal protection, no intention of using it for anything else. alas, just a fond memory, couldn't kick anything today if I wanted to... would take too long to get the walker out of the car first. not so much legend, as no room to pull over, and stop light at the top of the hill wasn't going anywhere-- way too much aggression to get one spot in line closer to the light at the intersection, that's all I wanted to point out. sadly, it took the shoe to get point across. I'm willing to bet the guy either turned into a homicidal maniac, or has thought twice about honking and gesturing and swearing to get to a traffic light one car sooner; just as I'm willing to bet cbelt3's head in hands guy has practiced some form of behavior modification since his entanglement.
