Some thoughts from a resident of Insecta (aka Florida):
Any chance you could host some chickens in your yard for a few weeks? They love to eat roaches.
Geckos will eat the roaches inside your house, but they are non-native, so you don't want to put them outside.
Think through the ecology of your yard. What is preventing the roach predators from controlling the roaches? For example, if you have cats, keep them inside for a few weeks, so the birds will become bold enough to attack the roaches without fear of being eaten themselves.
