Robert's assessment of Howard's performance is correct, but Will beat me to the punch.
I enjoyed it a lot, and Downy was easily as good as I'd hoped. He pulled off both the Before and After Stark really well.
He relaxed, glib delivery really made the movie for me.
The "Hello, Hef!" really cracked me up.
And normally I don't care that I get jokes the audience doesn't, but it was kind of cool to here some people getting them (more than usual for my experience).
NOW I wish I hadn't watched so the two trailers sooooo many times.
But I loved the movie.
And I *always* stay through the credits, so I was pleasantly surprised.
