Ouch, they dropped the price of FCE after I bought it. Oh well, at least I got it off ebay for close to the current price.
You used to be able to upgrade for $300 off of the full price. But it seems like since the price drop one can no longer upgrade. Sucks for me, one of the reasons I bought FCE was because it had a fair upgrade path to Final Cut Studio
