You guys have to PAY a power bill?
Why don't you just have them transfer that directly to my account so my bill would be lower?
I'd give anything to have a different utility company. They serve only one small pocket of this town, but, unfortunately, I live in it. The city tried to have one of the other two utilities in the area take over, but Puget Power threatened to run the city into bankruptcy in lawsuits if they tried. That's the problem with a small municipality; they lack the resources to take on the bullies. Something similar happened when WalMart decided they wanted to build here.
