[quote BigGuynRusty][quote SDGuy][quote Jem]Didn't work for me.
same here - got the following message:
"Sorry, this offer is only for people who have diabetes and use insulin or test with the ACCU-CHEKĀ® Advantage system." Worked Great, all four times for me.
You have to be an insulin user that uses an Accu-Chek meter (or say that you are).
This is the razor blade and handle business model.
You can get a free meter from at least a dozen places, the test strips are what cost you.
I don't use this type of meter, the strips are for a friend of mine who can't afford the 60 bucks a month on strips.
Also, Accu-Chek has the crappiest lancet devices.

I got around the exclusion on my second try, but based on your comment, BGnR, I'm wondering if their lancet system would be any better than the OneTouch Ultra 2 system that I was started on?
From the Accu-Check lancet system description, their claim of having the least amount of pain seemed worth trying out. The pain issue has prevented me from continuing to test, which I know I should be doing.
Any recommendations for dealing with the pain issue would be appreciated. Best device, method, etc?
