People can use an iPhone like an iTouch-- an iTouch is basically an iPhone without the telephony capability.
Regardless, I have no idea what Stevie has planned. But like everything electronic, prices drop. My first iPod was only 5G and $399. It was followed by a 10G for $499.
Apple *could* release a 2GB 'Phone for $200 (probably more like $250). I don't know what features it might eliminate. WiFi? That's a big part of the 'Phone's functionality.
We may know in just a few days.
