MobileMe slower than I imagined possible (so far)

Seriously - I ran a business for a while and at the time dotMac mail had always been reasonably reliable. I suppose it still is but now that I work for someone else again I don't like to have a full blown mail client configured on my employer's computer for my personal email - so I've preferred to use the webmail. Shocking that it's still down after 36+ hours.

But it sounds like this is the day some of the shine comes off Apple's luster - their iTunes iPhone activation system's apparently blown out worldwide!
