So, did they slap together this episode in a hurry to rip on Isaac Hayes?
OR
Was it just a stunt to promote this week's episode?

Contrary to popular assumption,South Parkfans have not
seen the Chef sling his final serving of hash. The character,
who until last week was voiced by Isaac Hayes, is back tonight
in the first of several new episodes of Comedy Central's
top-rated show. Work on the episode began last week, after
news broke of Hayes's decision to quit the show because it
skewered the Church of Scientology, of which he's a member.
Hayes didn't return to voice the new episode, but there's
widespread speculation that the show's Matt Stone and Trey
Parker used creative editing of past shows to fashion new
dialogue.
